There are some concepts from some people, from ordinary persons to philosophers, about life. Some say that life is a journey. Some others say life is all about adventure. Other technical opinion says that life is the existence of the living things that separates from the dead things.
I face my own life like enjoying the rhythm of music. Music with the lyric or only instrumental music. Like living my life, some music is familiar to my ear, some other is so unfamiliar. But still, I listen to the beat. I dance if the rhythm is good for dancing. I sing if I know the song. I feel sad if it's melancholic. I cry if it touches my soul. I laugh if the lyric is funny or the rhythm is unpredictable. I am in awe if the notes sound so classic.
Life has an end; death. Music also has an end. And I definitely know that. But I don't know when that stops. So, when the music plays, I enjoy it by singing, or moving along with the music. Just like life. Just live my life. If life wants me to laugh outloud, why should I prevent myself from laughing? If life wants me to cry, why should I hold my tears? If life wants me to take what I deserve, why should I protest?
If you think that life is a journey, it means you have a destination. Every journey always has a destination. If it is a final destination, then your final destination is death. You will focus to live your life on the journey or on the death, that's your choice.
If you think life is an adventure, it means you have the guts to face the risks of living your life. Does your adventure have an end? Surely it has. But you will focus on facing your adventurous, risky life.
So, do you want to consider your life as a journey, adventure, or rhythmic music? It's your choice. You don't have to follow my idea of living my life like I am enjoying the rhythm. But if you would, it feels good.
