Years ago when I decided to create those accounts for me, I just followed my instinct as a human who has desires. But after a few years of using them, I realized about my stupidity of 'selling' my personal life through those media. And then one by one, I deleted Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts that I have. (I am still using Youtube account for my educational reasons and Linkedin, just in case somebody asks me professionally😅, though I totally seldom open it.)
I deleted those 3 accounts because of one simple reason that I think some people will agree on; the notifications. Why should I be notified about others' personal life? I don't need that.
Besides, I appreciate my real life with real people and animals and plants. Dealing with those virtually feels empty for me. If it's for occasional entertainment, it's still acceptable. But when it becomes daily consumption, it's a big problem for me. It will become addiction. So I choose to stop.
You don't need to follow what I have done to my social media accounts. You know what you have to do with those of yours.
And you don't have to force me or someone else to have social media accounts and to do like what you do for your accounts. Everybody has their own way of regulating their personal life through the use of those media platforms.
If I have a plan of selling stuff, the real product or service, then choosing to have one account with the name of the brand is logically acceptable.
