On a special ocassion, I had to come to the office early in the morning. After I did my morning routines at home, I just went to the office feeling fresher because of the morning air. When I arrived at the office, I saw fresh faces and pale faces. It was relieving to see fresh faces, but a horrible feeling came to me when I saw those pale faces without make-ups! I am talking about the women. About the men, as long as they wash their face and spray little cologne onto their body, they will get freshness. But the women still need make-ups. If they go to the office right after they wash their face and spray perfume, they will still look horrible!
So, here is what happened in the staff's room. I sat calmly in front of the computer, opening e-mail and browsing news. The other horribly pale women were busy doing the make-ups! What the heck did they do at home? At least 10 minutes before going? 10 minutes for me is very enough for making up my face!! And for them? They spent almost 30 minutes for that in the room!! They seemed to not care about the job that they would do. They just cared about their face! It was right if they wanted to look beautifully perfect in front of the clients, customers, or students. But it was ridiculous to spend the whole 30 minutes for make-ups.
I am not saying that I did the right thing and they did not. I am just saying that being quick in using the cosmetics is wiser. Just consider this: in maximum 10 minutes, women will spend less from every cosmetics item; less eye shadow, less moisturizer, less foundation (I don't think foundation is important), less powder, etc. And their face will look light and naturally fresh. But what will happen if they spend 30 minutes or even more? What a heavy face! What a waste! What a face torture! And the skin aging will come faster and faster..
